Hi,
Could someone give their opinion on which one is
better? I need to get a radiator for a Chevy 4.3l V6
and I'm debating if I should go for a copper radiator
or an aluminum radiator. What I like about the copper
radiator is that it's easily repairable, however, I've
heard that the aluminum radiators cool more efficiently.

Thanks,

Rey

Aluminum radiators do NOT cool more efficiently. Their only advantage is
weight, so their only real need is on racing vehicles. Get the copper.
It's cheaper and cools better, and, as you said, it's easier to repair.

I Disagree, Copper radiators are not cheaper. Especially custom
sizes or Flanges. You just have to know where to get them from.

Easier and stronger repairs are made on the Al using a Tig welder.

And yes the Al radiator is much lighter and stronger.

I own both types. In a purely stock vehicle I'd go with a stock
radiator from a junk yard for $50. But if I was going to shell out
over $150 I would go with an Aluminum for about $220 and go with the
Biggest core I could fit in the chassi.

Good luck whatever you decide.
