I'am looking for any information or suppliers for putting a 350 Chev
into my extra Mazda B2200.

Thank you for your time

Can't really answer your question the way that you would like BUT, in
1991 I dropped a B2000 body onto a Chev. SWB 4x4 frame with SB 400 and
TH350 trans. Yes it was kind of a bitch but I had a good Mazda body and
a TRASHED (rolled 2or 3 times) Chev body. It took some fabrication but,
it was worth it. I sold the thing to some dude that HAD to have it. I
never even got to drive it. As far as I know, he is still driving the
thing somewhere in Fla.

Which year B2200? It may be easier to swap in a 302/351 Ford
small block, if it's the same platform as the newer Ford Ranger (I'm not
sure when they started "sharing" platforms). There are several sources
for Ranger V8 engine swaps (Kaufmann, etc.), so check out a truck-themed
magazine for more info.

Also, the May '88 issue of Hot Rod covered the swap of a Ford 351
into a Ranger ('86?), so that may be of some help...

Thanks for your input. I have a 1989 (when Mazda was still building
there own trucks) B2200. I do know what you are talking about. The new
Mazdas/Rangers I believe are Ford/USA built and a small block Ford would
likely make a nice swap.
In my youth I built three V-8 Vegas, so putting something where it does
not belong is not new to me. My trusty Mazda now has 250,000 miles and
is getting tired. With it's full frame and roomy engine compartment it's
just inviting my extra 350 Chev.
