No, not a Contour. I have replaced speakers in a T-Bird and just
now in my new Bronco.
For the Contour there are some direct replacements:
KENWOOD KFC-HQ690...........$199.95 /pr (HI POWER Recooended)
Pioneer TS-A5703/TS-A5705...$79.95/$99.95 /pr

Clarion SE-7360.............$69.95 /pr
I put Kenwood HQ-570 (5"x7"/6"x8") in the rear of the Bronco and
Kenwood KFC-1684 (6 1/2") and am very pleased. I have the Premiun
CD AM/FM Stereo (Ford) in the Bronco.
I would go with at least the puioneer TS-A5705's all around.
Crutchfield sells them for the above price witch includes a
wire harness adapter and instructions for installation, real
easy, and you don't mess up the original wiring.
1-800-955-3000 (Crutchfield) give them a call.
