You paid HOW much for BMW 325?

Sorry to have missed the thread I recently saw vis a vis the BMW
325is. I just drove the Bimmer in stick and auto form yesterday
and it was marvelous. I had been deciding between a Saab and a
Volvo 850 (good drive, great space) but the wonderfulness of the
Bimmer's road manners are really tempting. As the previous poster
noted, the diff between invoice and msrp is quite large for the
325, on the order of 20 percent. A volvo 850 GLT has a dealer
cost about what the 325 has but the msrp of the 325 is way higher.
I'd be fascinated to hear how much anyone actually paid for their
325. Can BMW's be bought for 3 percent above their invoice
or do they stick to a higher price attitude?
