Fellow netters,

recently saw the film "The Clockwork Orange" in one of the scenes
the gang is driving along in a convertible sports car with pop up lights
the question is .... does anyone know what it was ? it looks a bit like
a lotus 11 ( i think ? ) ?

thanks in advance,

Iain.

Be wary of strong drink, it can make you shoot at tax collectors - and miss.

It has been awhile since I have seen this film, but I always thought the
car was a Lotus Europa. However now that I think about it there were 3-4
of the those bad boys riding in it this would be impossible in a Europa
unless it was stretched. I do think it is a Lotus though.

I remember seeing a reference to this in an English kit car magazine a
few years ago. The car was (the prototype of ?) a kit called the
Durango(??). If more info is needed to settle your curiosity I'm sure I
could dig through my piling (sic) system and find the reference.
