I must sell my car by the end of march I was intending a full restoration
but I am out of money. I am the second owner of the car, my dad bought
it from the dealer in 1986. I have most service records.

81' chrome bumper convertible rabbit black with black top and maroon interior
130k miles, 5 speed, good engine with lots of new parts in need of some
cosmetic work.

new clutch around 110k 2 years ago
new alternator 1.5 years ago
new radiator 1.5 years ago
new catalytic converter exhaust and muffler 1.5 years ago
new fuel pump relay in June
new heater blower switch in December
new water pump and timing belt check in June
new brakes and master cylinder in July

the car is currently in my garage and it will have the following new
parts in the next week or two.

new battery
new air/fuel/oil filters
new fuses
new hood hinges
new hood latch
new frotn seat bushings

the car requires new paint, there is a small rust hole over the left rear
wheel well that I have removed and some other surface rust as well that I
have removed in preperation for paint. Also, I removed the original
carpet and I was planning to replace it. I still will if I sell the
car. I have removed molding and trim in preperation for paint as well.
However, the car is running well and drivable as is it just isn't that
pretty. the top is in descent shape and could stand to be replaced in a
year or so. once the car is painted the top will look worse because it
is faded with time, although it is I beleif the second top on the car.

I'm asking $2000 and you'll need to spend at lest $200 at Maaco unless
you can paint yourself.

The car is in PA and will be in delaware in a couple of weeks
adios
