money on a second mp3 player. The iPod is definitely worth the extra
money. If I weren't buying a split bus I'd get the iPod despite already

Yes, and you can even use it with Windoze, not just Linux. Although
you're better off using Mac OS X - better iPod interface, better user
interface, and it runs for months with no crashes/freezes/blue screens
of death/restarts. Of course, you can get the same reliability running
Linux.
