On Ebay. Check it out. My NG service is poor. Sorry if this is getting
posted a lot, as I keep posting and it never shows up for me! Try to get
the word out! It's a friends truck! Thanks!

Not VW, but really a nice truck... couldn't leave out my "Home NG"! ; )

In2hoppn is a very regular poster here. Wouldn't exactly call this
spam if it's truly him. Just FYI.

HEY! Thanks for stickin' up for me TOE!
Yup, it's really me. And for all us VW nuts who also sometimes need a work
truck (don't see too awful many VW trucks in 4wheel drive that can haul as
much weight as this one can), a heads up for a good priced truck can be
appreciated? It would definitely haul about half a dozen caddy diesel
engines.

I would reply under post from Peter Parker and tell him to go F... himself.
But, that's not generally my style.

I did put (not VW but...) in the title, in an OT kind of way. But you know,
any asshole can take the opportunity to click it open anyway (just to be an
asshole about it), then (after being so totally bothered by the time
consuming burden of such spam) go to the extreme of replying (sure hope this
didn't totally ruin his whole weekend's time schedule) in an asshole kind of
way. But, you know what really bothers me? I used to like to go bowling.
Now, being about as intelligent as a box of rocks, he's gone and offended
the entire bowling community! Good thing I didn't post a pic! He'd a blown
a head gasket and gone off offending who knows who else... basketball?
soccer? Assuming bigger balls are less sharp then smaller ones, he could
have been a little more generous and said golf ball.

Oh yeah, just a minor correction. I'm meant to type... "tryING to get the
word out" My typo makes that sound like a command. OK, flame deserved!
See? I admit being about as sharp as a grapefruit anyways : ) But, unlike
the typical spammer, this is not a profitable endeavor. I'm actually
spending my money to list the auction. And the full bid amount goes to my
friend who owns the truck. Who is absolutely taking a loss (unless it bids
up like crazy). His schizophrenic (not kidding, medically true) wife, after
another cycle through the system plus another "dry out" session, gets
brainwashed by some womans advocate group into doing a restraining order for
domestic violence and, even though admitting that shes never been hit, the
judge tosses this guy out of his house. So, here I am trying to help this
guy out. He's had a troubled past, but doesn't deserve this. So whatever I
can do for him (except I just can't buy the truck) I'm doing. Even if it
involves spamming a little, too. Any of you guys know someone who might
want this truck, I am asking you to pass on the auction link. And sincere
appologies to Peter Parker. I really wasn't out to offend anyone.

79 with 1.8 GTI conversion (paint prep coming along REAL slow...)
89 cabby (clutch feeling a little stiff and light under foot, smoked the
clutch a little yesterday in heavy traffic, next problem?)
86 cabby (front bumper needs a mild -OK major- pull, and paint could be
better... mechanically=stock but premo)
82 two door carburetted (finally made it to the bone yard, minus most of the
good parts! Searching for info on that carb system was my ticket to learn
how to surf the net. You all have that car to blame for the misfortune of
making my e-quaintance)
82 4 door (also junked, but saved a bunch of parts of it)
84 2 door carburetted (sold to a friend. still running great but
interior=dumpster now)
83 GTI (junked for rust and dents in every panel including roof. But
engine/trans running great in 79 above)
83 4 door 1.7FI with automatic trans (sold to sweet young girl -OK her
sweetheart mom too- who did a "miracle spray-bomb paint job" on it! From
ugly brown/gold to sharp blue metalic. Unbelievable results.)
84 Black GTI that looked and ran perfect (sold for just 400bucks. Excellent
excellent condition, except the floors completely rotted out. Best looking
original paint rabbit I ever saw, mint dark maroon interior, and worse
looking floor rot I ever saw for these cars)
Quantum, couple Jettas, a Golf,... guess this is the wrong place to spam -I
mean mention- all the chevys, toyotas, buicks, or the 77madmax KZ1000

If I had the money and a need for yet another vehicle I would look into
getting a hold of your buddies truck. Nice looking and I am sure that
someone on this group would be happy to own it. It's too bad that VW hasn't
put a real truck into the market, so for those of us needing to haul things
we have to look to the big three.

Dumb stupid moron hick! This is a VW group. If you want to really find
someone that would even consider a Chevy, go figure out how to post on the
Chevy news group. So what if you regularly post on RAMVW. It is just plain
wrong and doesn't make sense.

I'm upset about all of the recent non-VW posts that have been happening lately.
It's like RAMVW is becoming regular garbage can instead of a specific recycling
enclosure. :) This isn't a personal newsgroup that you can send out any old
stupid spam. It has to at least be related to the newgroup itself. :) I've been
getting less tolerant with SPAM lately and it seems like there is no end in
sight with the e-mail spam. But, the OT SPAM sucks and that was why I originally
posted my response. I should have been more specific.

In2hoppn, I started reading your response and snapped a few screws loose with
a stupid ass response of my own. After sending my "FLAME POST", I realized that
I didn't finish reading your post and that I got upset premature.
I then looked at all the evidence and realized I was the one that sounded like
a "Jerk" which happens sometimes but not this bad. :) So please accept my
apology and good luck to your Chevy friend selling his truck.

Back to our normally scheduled RAMVW show...

I guess we all need to go back to the discussion of "torque steer". Then
we can enjoy flaming some Honda's along the way, instead of my post /
friend's truck!
I figured the (not VW) in the title made it OK. Maybe I'm wrong? Is
any/all of the OT labelled stuff really considered spam? Anyway... I'm
ignorant... that MUST be why I own old VWs anyway! Again.. appologies to
all! And Peter Parker also gets counted among my e-friends! A personal
response from him was much appreciated!
Forget the truck! Let's move on!

In2hoppn plays with himself on RAMVW??

Not true. I have a good place to "park" my "peter". (why get mad, get
even! ; ) ) But for occasional freehand, I'd recommend you go to:

rec.autos.makers.nakedbabes.in.vw.watercooled.picsandmovies. ; )

Now on to a real question... but I'll start a better titled thread for that.
