VW shop in Chicago ?

I am looking for a VW shop as well as a library where I can find the
Idiot Book and the Haynes manual in the Chicago area.

I too have looked for one the only one I have found that is at all
interested in air cooled is in Elgin. GLD automotive at preston and
congdon aves. Its ust south of I-90, off on 25. than one blk west of 25 on
Congdon, that's preston. Owner seems real nice and willing to help with
my 66 beetle in a box

I have no idea how good they are or even whether a warm body ispresent
at the counter, but driving down Western last week, between Devon and
Armitage, on the west side of the street, I passed a sign that said
"Volkswagen specialist." If somebody else drove by to investiagte, then
I wouldn't have to :)
