The Tag frame is the metal frame you put around your plate, like the EMPI USA
one I have on the front of my 67. I put the CA Black Plate in it today. I got
an ECONO plate frame for the back that I also put on today.

I'm not sure about the tag frames, but this guy was selling a 56 or a 57 ragtop
bug that was pristine on ebay and the price wasn't so bad. The tags might be
rare??

Interesting tidbit here: Assuming this is the same McKenna VW in
California, according to the people on the watercooled group, it's a
dealership that should be avoided like the plague. They sell cars at
huge markups and have just general bad service. I doubt I'd want to be
doing them any advertising especially if I have to pay for the
priviledge.......
