Has anyone seen a kitcar that looks like a VW Thing (Type 181)? TIA

I know nothing about this kit, but it's a replica of a Kubelwagen, the
vehicle that inspired the thing. I suppose with some ingenuity you could
make it look alot like a thing.

did ya read the FAQs? Will fit Beetle pans from 1939-1944.....kind limits
the market, doesn't it? Anyone with a low mileage KDF I can cut up for a kit
car:)~

Probabally a typo, you could put a late model bodyshell on a '41 (with
minimum modifications). However, there was a restored Type82E (Beetle
on Kubel chassis and suspension) bare floorpan on eBay.co.uk a few
weeks ago for Ł1,500 :-)
