horrid clunking sound

well i've had a differnet problem with my ghia everyday this week..
anyway.. today's problem:

whenever the tire completes a rotation.. this horrible thunk/clunk sound
occurs.. it doesnt sound healthy.... on my left drive axel.. there is
one bolt that isnt threaded just sits in there.. but the other 8 bolts
are fine..... whats causing this unhealthy sound? it sounds like its
coming from the back left of the car..

....not to point out the obvious...but have you checked the lugs?

CHECK YOUR AXLE NUT,CV BOLTS INNER@ OUTER. ALSO CHECK BRAKE STUFF INSIDE THE
DRUM. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE IT'LL BITE YOU IN THE @#^!!** IF YA DON'T
