VW Bus

Hi there;

I'm buying a VW Bus (78) pretty soon here, and I had heard something a while
back that if I remember correctly had something to do with a jet or something
like it being pressed into the engine block and not actualy welded like it's
supposed to be. Or, maybe my memory doesn't serve me that well. Either way, I
was wondering if there are any key points I should examine before I start
driving it a lot. I have a few bucks to put into it, and I guess I want to make
sure that I'm putting it into the right areas. I live in New England, and will
be moving to WA state later this summer. Thanks.
