that is the web page for the one that I know of. Don't forget Kelly park is
coming up in April and that club will have a ralley the day before the show
which should be a blast. Say your prayers that I can have my 65 painted and the
judson hooked up by then to have some fun. We are also looking at the
possiablity of another RAMVA get together before Kelly Park, If not the one in
Sacramento will be just as fun as last year.

Hi Daniel,

Yes there are a quite a bit of Volkswagen clubs here in the SF Bay Area. I,
myself is in three different VW clubs, V.V.W.C.A. - Golden Gate Chapter,
Wolfsburg Pacific VW Club (Oakland), and the Karmann Ghia Club of North America
(KGCNA).

Depending on where you are in the Bay Area, if you're more into:

the Vintage/stock look, the Vintage Volkswagen Club of America (V.V.W.C.A.) -
Golden Gate Chapter is the club to join. The Golden Gate puts on one of
premier Vintage VW show to attend which is the Kelley Park Vintage Spring Meet
coming up on the weekend of April 11th at the San Jose Historical Museum and
the Bi-Annual Solvang Vintage meet held in Solvang (near Santa Barbara). The
Golden Gate Chapter has a meeting the first Friday of each month at Harry's
Hoffbrau in Mountain View. Check out the Golden Gate Chapter webpage for more
info: http://reality.sgi.com/csp/ggvvwca

The Wolfsburg Pacific VW Club (East Bay club) is open to ALL VWs, whether
they're stock split-windows to supercharged Corrados, New Beetles, etc.
Wolfsburg Pacific is considered as an enthusiasts club which we plan on putting
on show and shine, cruises/caravan, the Kelley Park Spring Rallye (held the day
before Kelley Park show), get-togethers, tech sessions, and so on every month.
The Wolfsburg Pacific VW Club is held at the Broadway Volkswagen dealership in
Oakland on the second Saturday of each month at 10am.
We currently don't have a webpage up yet, but working on it.
More info about Wolfsburg Pacific VW Club, contact: Fred Montano (510) 208-5606

There is also the Old Volks VW Club in the Peninsula (San Mateo/Burlingame
area),
for more info, contact Roscoe (650) 344-7356
San Francisco Peninsula Area
Meetings, Picnics, Caravans to Shows

And there's the Blitzkrieg VW Club which meets every Thursday night at the City
Espresso, on Stevens Creek Blvd., near Lawrence Expressway and Highway 280, in
San Jose/Cupertino. Most of us show up around 7 PM, and everyone usually hangs
out until 10PM, when City Espresso closes. We just hang out, talk VW, find
parts through others, and maybe sell a few ourselves! The next planned
meeting is on: Thursday, January 21st, 1999.
