What is bodysonic?

Anyone wants to try explaining what bodysonic(sp) is and how do I know if I
have it?.

Bodysonic is a bass system that was made by Pioneer.
They still have some left in the factory. If I'm not mistaken,
it's subs in the seats. I've never heard them, but I understand
you get a decent massage as you drive.

Sounds like you are talking about the Bass Transducers in the MSSS
stereo system. What year did you get? '92? These are a small set of
vibration devices tuned to the low frequencies of the stereo. They
essentially simulate the feel that bass speakers would give you if
they were in the car. Many people who have ridden in mine think there
are an extra set of speakers around somewhere! hehe. They produce no
sound, however, but do make a great back massager. The transducers
sit behind the small of your back inside the seat itself. If you have
the silver Pioneer radio that has the CD/Cassette and the little
half-din adjuster on the bottom then you have the system. I don't
think they came on any other model. Btw, these little things are
nifty though I have never heard of anyone retrofitting them to a
non-MSSS car. Has it been done?
