My MX-5 (1995 1.8) fitted with the Sebring Supercharger, hesitates when
pulling away from rest, after about 2000 rpm, the engine is fine. Has
anyone out there seen this problem, and do they know how to fix it. All the
pipes are good and tight. The engine has only done 20000 miles so it is
still 'new'.

Thanks Andy

I should assume you already know that the stock spark plug wires
(sparking plug wires...whatever) tend to fail around 30,000 miles or
less. I'm sure a Sebring combined with, ahem, 'spirited' driving, could
cause earlier failure. One should always venture to this part of the
engine when symptoms like these arise. Good luck to you.

Sounds like plug wires to me.

I'd consider plug wires, even at 20,000 miles.
