Just got a 1990 Miata. The previous owner didn't have the code and replaced
the radio with an inferior unit. The radio was in the trunk. Is it
completely junk or can I get a code somewhere or have it re programed? One
of my local Mazda dealers in Ft. Worth said they could get it going for
$37.50 but next time the battery went dead it wouldn't work again. If I
have to upgrade to get better sound and maybe add a CD player any
suggestions on highest quality fewest dollars? Also is their an upgrade for
the headrest speakers? All this info is probably out there not sure where
to look. A new Miata Owner!

Wow, I've had a Miata for about 5 years now and this is the first time I
have ever seen this site. Thanks for posting it!

It was on this news group where it was pointed out to me when I
asked almost the exact same question news asked.
