How about if we rewire the windows to roll up and down a bit faster.

Along those lines... How about automatic roll up (in addition to automatic
down). I HATE pulling out of the toll booth and trying to hold my finger
on the "window up" button while out-accelerating the guy in the booth next
to me. And how about making the windows "accelerate" as you hold down the
switch. Like, it moves slow at first (to make a small adjustment) and
speeds up as it moves farther. Neither of these ideas would be difficult
to implement, especially by the factory.

To answer the original question: I think you can replace the passenger
switch (or control module) with another driver window part. Just grab one
from a junk yard, or order the part for the driver window and install it on
the passenger. Pop open your door panel and investigate before buying
stuff, tho. I'm not sure specifically what part to replace... anyone? I
may do some re-wiring of my own this summer... I'll post what I figure
out.

I don't imagine this would be very hard... you'd probably have to get a
different switch (same as the driver's switch). There really isn't much
involved to the auto-down feature. I think that is a good idea. I often
am alone and on a nice day like to put both windows down. I don't really
need to sit there and hold down the passenger side window till it's all the
way down. Let me know what you hear!

John

You can get the power window module from Clifford alarms if you have a
Clifford alarm system. The unit will allow you to do a auto down and
up on both driver and passenger window.

My thoughts exactly. By the time the window gets rolled up I am at the
next toll :)
