I'll let you know if I have any leaks after 3000 miles with my oil drain
bolt washer.

BTW --ATTN Trevor-- the Honda corporate Law-Yers will be contacting
you about using a portion of our (copyright) parts catalog without
express written permission ...... snicker.......
Hmmm, this is odd. We had a '93 Camry 4 cyl until we traded it for a 2K
Accord and although the Camry does have that raised washer on the pan it's
really just a reinforced area for screwing in and seating the plug. The car
came fitted with a fiber washer as well when new and I replaced it a couple
of times over its lifetime - the Toyota dealer parts depts. have them. If
Honda really has changed the design and added that permanent washer I'd
head down to the hardware store and pick up a few fiber washers for 20c
each.

Thanks, George, for your input here. I did not get that specific with my friend,
re: the fiber washer, but I will ask him. I also plan to call the other 3 Honda
dealers in my area, and see what they say. I will report back what I find out.
