1982 Honda Accord Engine Specifications

Can anyone tell me where to find the engine specifications for my 1982 Honda
Accord Hatchback DX? I can't seem to find this information anywhere on a
current web page. I'm interested in finding out how the displacement on
and horespower on my '82 Honda compare with that of the 1998 Honda Civics.
I believe the Civic is 1.6L with a 108hp engine. Any help would be most
appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, the '82 Accord has 75hp and 96 ft/lbs of torque.
The engine is 1751 cc which is rounded up to 1.8L
I have one in Europe in mint condition with 8,000 miles and drive it
whenever I go on vacation there. It is actually quite peppy with the 5
speed.

I believe it's one of the EK1 variants: 1.8L(1751cc) CVCC.
HP, Torque: 76@4500,96@3000 (give or take...). This engine
showed up in 1979, got higher compression starting 1981,
due to a new head; also required unleaded fuel from 1981 on.
Last used in 1983 models.

You're pretty close :) With a carburetor kit and some other
tweaks you might get HP into the low 90's...
