Oh, Man, that's bad. The only real mods he's done is a cam and 3.73
rear gears. The rest of that crap is just expensive fluff.

Hmmm. $35k invested. $10k opening bid that hasn't even been met yet.
And that feedback rating of (-1) speaks volumes as well.

With that 1-chamber Flowmaster exhaust system, I would imagine he could
use some of that money for aural rehabiliatation and appliances.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but..
I honestly don't think it looks *that* bad.
People seem to be way too quick lately to
dissmiss any car looking non-stock as crap.

Few points though I will agree on
1. The double decker boeing 747 wing needs to go and replaced
with a more sensible alternative
2. Trunk/Engine cleaned out
3. Amplifier moved to an appropriate location, I admit my own
sits in the same position right now..but that's only because I don't
want to take my cars interior apart *AGAIN* when I put the
rest of my system together..so I put it in the trunk temporarily to
aovid having to do that.
4. VCR needs to go, agreed
5. The different colored covers on the rear taillights need to go.

Few points I disagree...
1. Someone said something about the aftermarket stereo..
Come on..how many of us here still have stock? I do...'till
I have the money to buy myself an aftermarket that is...

I think the main thing is just the simple fact that the car is all show,
no go(if you wanna say that about a V8 that is), and its performance
can't compete w/ the looks, sure. But that could be changed.
Overall..I like the general look of the car.
If it now also had the proper performance mods, and make
the ram air intake functional...one heck of a car if you ask me.

Feel free to send flames my way...fire extinguisher is at hand.

I still have the stock Mach 460 in my car. I like stereos and music. Just
not enough to spend any real money to replace it. It's fine for me. I'll

I wouldn't put a huge box in the back, etc. either...
Or do some of that crazy shit the audio shops do.

But you'd be amazed what you can do with 2 3-way 6x8's, some good
quality dynamat, and a 200 watt amp. If I do the same w/ the fronts,
I'll have a great system, w/out the added weight, and a stock looking
interior.
The head unit however..*HAS* got to go...radio sensitivity sucks,
and I need to be able to play mp3's.

I do the same right now..
However...Taking a 3meg mp3 and making a 30meg wave out of it
does not improve the quality of it. All you're doing is wasting 27megs
of space on that cd where you could have other songs.

I was going to keep my mouth shut but since Stephen spoke up first. I have
to agree with him. There are some things that SERIOUSLY need to be changed
about the car but it doesn't look *that* bad.
I know, the interior and trunk are dirty... ok, really dirty. The Saleen
S351 wing has got to be swapped out (maybe with a S281 wing), the silver
swirl on the sides must go as well, and the brake light bezels needs to go
back to the body color. The chrome trim around the perimeter of the car just
below the windows and the top of the trunk deck must go as well. I see no
need for a VCR/TV in a Mustang either.
As for the rest of the car, I think the colors go well and the interior dash
work matches well with the outside. Just because a Stang isn't stock doesn't
mean it doesn't look good. I admit this one doesn't look very pleasing in
it's current state but it doesn't like bad enough to vomit over. What's
wrong with making a fast car look fast? Is it wrong for someone to want to
have their own personalized and custom look? Can't someone be different and
not follow the crowd with a solid paint job and otherwise stock appearance?

Exactly,

Replace hood with something similar to Cervini's Stormin Norman

Replace "wing" with a nicer looking spoiler, maybe a stock spoiler.

Sterero, well that's all preference, but if done right minimalist can work
great. Go for good coax's and a small but efficient sub and you'll have a
decent system for little dough.

Paint could be black with deep (almost black) purple dual racing stripes.
Seen a stang with that already and it looks hella sweet.

DId not get a good look at the rims since I was ready to blow my supper, but
chromed cobra rims could ahve been a nice touch of polish instead of those
ugly wastes of metal

And maybe a nice black/charcola grey interior would look nicer, sorry but i
find the interiors in the 94 up stangs to be rather ugly.

If he left import mods for imports and went for real performance, for the
supposed 35g he dropped he coulda had one hell of a pony, even if he went
for straight naturally aspirated power, he could have ahd a seriously nice
engine/suspension package.

I just find it sad when I see cars like this, I've seen 4-cyl stangs which
had more go than some of those all show imports and it had less invested in
it than the import. (sure helped that he worked at a machine shop so he
could do all his major mods himself)

Well that's my 2 cents, BTW I am a lurker coming out, owner of a 92 2.3l
(too broke at the moment to get a 5.0, I made the mistake of buying a
sunbird and having it blow up on me)
