2002 Mach 1

Has anyone seen the prototype of the 2002 Mach 1. If not you can see it

Yes, I have seen it. As a matter of fact, that is my current wallpaper.
I really like it. But, I have my doubts about the Cobra motor being in
the production car (if its built). Wouldn't that push the price up too
close to the Cobra? I figure it will get the "Bullit" treatment with the
functional shaker hood to crank out say 285 hp. All for about the same
price as the Bullit- but maybe a little bit more. Motor Trend had an
article about the Bullit in their current issue. They said to look for
the Mach 1 in 02 and a Boss 302 w/ a 5.0 in 03 to keep it interesting
until the next Mustang arrives. I kind if find it hard to believe that
Ford would build the Boss with a 5.0. The next generation will be out in
the 04 time frame. Why do it? Who knows. But, I do hope the Mach 1 gets
the green light.

The next gen stang (s197) might be with a 5.0 as stock gt engine that
is why a boss with 5.0. Its like a teaser.
