I just saw a rack in the Performance Bicycle catalog that is
advertised as fitting most cars with spoilers. It is a Bard
Wyers Mini Stealth model, and the picture shows what is
described a "no touch" design. No feet rest on the trunk
surface, and a padded roll rests on the bumper. Decent
price too--on sale for $34.99. Does anybody have this type
of bike rack or another trunk-mounted brand they found
compatible with the spoiler?
Thanks in advance.

My Rhode Gear rack was "not recommended" for my '93 Mustang LX, but I had
no problem hooking it onto the car. Despite all precautions, I found that
the straps themselves had rubbed the paint off, after my 300-mile trip.
Taking the bikes to the local track (5 miles each way) was no problem, but
the extended trip allowed the rough cloth straps to rub the same place for
about 6 hours...long enough to rub the paint right off. But, hey! It
gives the car character.... :(
