yeah, but Saleen has been having problems putting their cars out on time and
the quality has been sucking pretty hard. I know a guy who has a brand new 351
convertible on order and his production date is arleady 6 weeks behind
schedule.. for a $70,000 car, I don't think so.. The S281 are around 30k
though.

The 2000 S351 Saleens start at $50K, and the '99s were around $55K. Hmmm, maybe
he has like 20K of options.

I don't know where you saw one for $30,000. The ones I have seen
advertised run upwards of $52,000.

Stormer is right. The entry level Saleen S281 is about $30K, or if you get one
with the intercooled roots blower, $33K.

You are referring to the S351 which has the 351 Windsor engine with a Vortech S
Trim blower. The price of this car actually went down to $50K. In 1999, the
S351 was $55K.

The December issue of MM&FF test drives all of the Saleen Mustang offering for
2000.

The 351 runs $50k+ .. The 281 is less than 30k. There is a new one on ebay for
28k right now.
