Is the block in my 88 GT w/roller cam the same
as other late model 302 blocks, say from a truck
or regular Ford passenger car?

I'm going to have to go block hunting in a few
weeks (cracked) and want to get the correct block.

If they are different is there any way to tell the
correct block from the outside?

Regards
Mike

Hey Mike,

yes, the blocks are the same, the differences between the truck
engine, and the mustang engine was mainly in the induction and cam
selection area.

And the "truck" block is probably about $50 cheaper at
the boneyard than the "Mustang 5.0" block is, too.........
