SN95 was the secrete code word used internally by Ford, for the
style (design) of the Mustang introduced in 1994. As a lot of
early news tends to get out about cars, the internal code word
also got out, and the press used it in any articles about the
(then) new Mustang. We all just got use to hearing it, and
continue today to use the SN95 code name instead of range of
model years (like 1994-1998 Mustang = SN95 Mustang).

Also includes new 99 mustangs, they are officially referred to as sn95's, i
read that in blue oval news or somewhere like that.
