I've seen several posts here about 24lb injectors and larger. Can someone
explain to me what you get from these. Will you need another fuel pump? I
have a 97GT and I've only got a couple more affordable mods I can do to it.
So I'm trying to look for some more, so I can spank my wifes 99 WS6, w/o
putting on the bottle:)

Here is what I plan to do with it..

Pullys....<---Suppose to be in the mail today..:-)
3:73
Basani X-Pipe
Headers...(not sure on the type yet)...
Lower the car about 1"
Suspension work for better launch and corners

What else do you guys / gals think I can do for under $300 a mod minus
labor?

The larger injectors are going to spray more fuel into the cylinders. I
dont think you can just swap in bigger injectors. I believe you have to
get your mass air meter calibrated for the size of your injectors so it
knows how much fuel to spray. Also, larger injectors are going to
demand more fuel from the fuel pump so it would be wise to upgrade your
in-tank fuel pump or get one of those inline fuel pumps to boost fuel
delivery. I'd go with your exhaust mods before looking to the fuel
system. If your steed isnt breathing freely your just going to make
your air/fuel mixture 'rich' by using bigger injectors.

Lol, your wife's got a WS6? Bigger injectors will make your car run
like crap with those mods, and waste gas too. I've got 24lb inj and a
190L/hr (or 195) fuel pump for a 400hp n/a car. 14-16mpg highway.

Yes she does. Actually it is a 30th Anniversary TA Convertible. There are
pics of it at the URL listed below. It is #58 out of 500 convertibles made.

Forget the 24lb injectors!! The 19s will handle up to 300hp. I ran a 8.09
in teh 1/8th mile with 19s. Bolt on a set of street slicks !!! You can get
a set for $300 or so and pick up a used set of wheels. Hard launches with
no spinning wins races!!
