Can anyone tell me how I can buy a car that is in Chicago,IL and ship it
to Wilkes-Barre,PA. All I can say about the car is it's a 1976 made by
Ford with with only 89 miles on it and I want it. But I don't how to buy
it and ship it here. Did any one here ever by a car out of state and
have it shipped to them ?

The dealer that has it is sending me some pictures of it and a copy of
the title to look at I should have them soon.

Stan

If you really want it why not spend a couple hundred bucks and fly out and
drive it
back?

maybe the fact that it only has 89 miles has something to do with it.

I don't know if that might be bad for it because it has not been used for so
long. In 1976 someone put 85 miles on it and took a stroke and could not
drive it so it sat in a garage till a car dealer got it 15 years ago and
they put 4 miles on it.
I don't know what would happen if I tried to drive it so far after it sat so
long.
The problem is I hate to go so far and then have to ship it home anyway.

look... if you are gettig into the car collection hobby/buwsiness then do it
right... go see the car you can get a cheap flight make plans for the
tranport service to pick it up while you are there and have it delivered to
your door. i have had a few cars shipped in my time. i will tell you that
once the dealer sells it to you he hands it to the transport service. that
could be anything from a driver who is trying to make a few bucks on his way
back home or it could be a pro. at car tranportation. in the first case that
guy does not give a shit about you, your car or how much cash you put into.
take care of your investment. go and watch it get loaded this will cost you
far less than a nice scratch or a bent rim or a wrecked car.... when it gets
to you take the day off and wait for the car do not go to work and tell them
to leave the keys under you door. you will get the car with 100 miles on it.

on thing that i hate is some one who spend serious cash on a car and wants
to cut corners when shipping, washing, painting, and so on.

Isn't John Stefanic an open wheel racer? Or am I thinking of Mike or Mark
Stefanic.

knowledge.
