Aside from waiting on the certificate, does anything on the car show the build
number and date?
Thanks

There should be a plate of sorts under the hood. I believe it's on one of the
valve covers. It'll be signed by the 2 people that hand built your motor, and
the date it was finished and installed.

Nope, it will only show the two guys who built it.. but you can have the dealer
look at the vin # and tell you when it was built.. but you will have to wait to
get the certificate to tell what # it is...

ummmm... try 11 more horsepower.

1. Because of the 99 completely smooth hood without the 98 cool big fake
intakes.
2. Ford was too cheap to make a different nose for the 99. They put black
spacers in the 99 GT rectangular fog lamp holes. Then put in round lamps.
3. They even went back to the bumper with "Mustang" embossed in it. Instead
of "Cobra".
CHEAP!

Actually it only has 20 more horsepower. The dealer came $3k off sticker and
I didn't have to wait until March. To be honest I still prefer the 94-98 body
style. The dealer also happened to have exactly the color combination I
wanted.
