Has anyone had any experience buying cars of ebaymotors? Or heard anything
about it. I would appreciate any info thanks. And are there any sites online I
can check vin numbers? Thanks again.

I'll probably get a lot of crap for this but here goes... I bought a
motorcycle through ebay, It was shipped, deal went over just fine, that is,
until I took it to be registered, Turns out the damn thing was stolen. The
person I bought it from is still on ebay selling stuff.

I sue'd, won, but still, over a year later, I have yet to get any of my
money back, the bike is sitting in my garage STILL. I have a credit agency
after them now, I don't know if it'll do any good though... Moral of the
story, If you can't go look at it before you buy, DON'T BUY!

On the flip side, I have both bought and sold quite a few cars on Ebay
over the last few years. if you ask the right questions first, then you
should not have a problem. I usually ask to see a copy of the clear
title before sending funds............

But not on classics or anything before '82 I believe.
