I've got one for my car, just need a schematic to do some comparing to..
we're gonna see if there's a way to pull this off or not at home with the
help from one of my electronics engineering buddies.. (:
Got to check the wiring crossovers first, then I'll get into sensor
tolerances, impedances, etc.. *woohoo* fun. (:

What's your definition of an ECU wiring diagram? I have the full Helms
manual set for my '91 5.0 LX and have never seen a wiring/logic diagram
of what's inside the ECU box...or are you talking about the wiring diagram
-going- to the ECU? If you start poking around inside the ECU trying to
modify engine mapping thru EEPROM reprogramming, you'd better have a spare
ECU in addition to a good idea of what memory location does what.
Interesting experiment - you're driving down the boulevard with your
laptop punching keys, when all of a sudden you have an extra 400 BHP
at the rear wheels and you're burning rubber to the next county. :^)

Let me clarify, Don.. until I get a supercharger, this is a far easier way
to bypass the disgustingly misprogrammed computer put in my car. (:
So, without trying to incur too much more confusion, I suppose it would be
the wiring *to* the ECU and *from* the sensors that map to the ECU.. as well
as color codes et al. (of which I can gather other ways, if need be, but I'm
not sure how you'd label them otherwise)

LoL.. (: This would be cool, and.. I do have a laptop.. but.. (:
No, on a more serious note, when a stock '95 Cobra had its ECU replaced with
a '91 or '92 A9L ECU, it dropped 0.4 seconds from its e.t. according to some
testing done by a (now hard to find) web site and apparently one of the
Mustang rags. I am simply trying to squeeze every ounce of performance out
of a stock chip until I have one custom burned based on the truly optimal
settings my car would prefer.
I have a 93 schematic and EVTM manual that may help you out depending on what
exactly your looking for.
