changed recently the Limited is only available with AWD instead of
2/4hi/4lo not a huge deal if all you want is a little security to get
to the store in the snow ( but then why not get a volvo, prob suits
that need better ). This difference not only provides the EB with a
better ability to get out of trouble but should also keep a higher
resale value. Plus the Limited's are some of the ugliest explorers out
there. Thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The limited also has leather on the upper part of the doors. I was also told that it was also a better grade of leather, but that may have been sales BS. The difference between the EB and the Limited was only about $200 and my wife and I really like the memory seat feature. If for nothing else, that was worth the difference. We also liked the body color trim better than the two tone trim on the EB and besides, you don't see that many Limiteds. I see a lot of EB's. What I want to know is what is the auto ride control/auto-leveling suspension that only seems to be available on the 4x4 limited? How is that difFerent than the option 68L Rear Load Leveling (4WD/AWD - XLT/Eddie Bauer/Limited)? Also the limited is available with control tract FWD. The V8 can only be optioned with the AWD or TWD.

EB has leather too. and I dont have to tell guys that its my wifes

headrest available only in my 94 Limited... don't know if that is
still true. I don'r like the EB two tone look, but the seat height
was more important.
