Hi. Does anyone have any experience using a CDR or CDRW with their own
audio on the Chrysler AM/FM Stereo/CD/Cassette deck? It'd be kinda dumb to
buy one and not be able to use any of the CDR's! Speaking of such, anyone
know where I could get one cheap? The places I found on the net all charge
about $400-$450 (which is still better than the dealer's $695!).

TIA,
Matt.

Forget about playing CD-RWs in most CD players. Only the newest chip sets
just hitting the street will add that ability. CD-Rs play fine.

What year Intrepid? Perhaps only the 97 model radios play CDR's, or
possibly none will play "cheaper" CDR's.

Cool, thanks Neil. Also, does anyone know if there are any differences
between different part numbers of the radio, yet they are ALL the
Cd/Cassette combo. The part numbers are 82204878, 82204877, 82203167,
470385, 470384, and 470383. I know 4858540 is the new round model with the
mounting holes on the sides. What about the others? You can find these on
www.radiosandmore.com/category4.asp, but it doesn't really say the
difference, if any.
