{shrug} There's something Pontiackey circa several years ago about
the front end, and the back end makes me think of a Nissan Murano.
Overall... well, there are only so many forms that can follow the
function of a crossover. I don't find this one objectionable, or
even bland.
What's ugly is the sticker; base MSRP is $45k, and there are two
options packages that if combined can push it to $56k; and no, that's
not for a his'n'hers two pack. A person could get a rather tidy
used Subaru for the cost of the options packages and have enough
change to go somewhere in all wheel drive this winter.
Betcha that even with the short Japanese product cycles, they started
planning this (undoubtedly nice) car before the economy went into the
dumps...
