Hi:

Has anyone out there got anything to say about this company ?

Someone at Carlisle mentioned that they bought an interior "kit" for a '36
Chevy from them. I'd like to hear from someone else who has dealt with
them.

cheers

Dave

I bought a kit for a 39 Chevy from them....good stuff! But, I made the
mistake of installing it myself. The kit is so nice, it deserves to be
installed by someone who knows what they are doing (ie. a professional trimmer)

I bought a interior kit for a 32 Chev from Hampton several years
ago. They put out a quality product, which was pretty much
exactly like the original. At that time Hampton Coach was an
independent company, and did interior and top kits mostly for
Chevrolet, some Buicks, and a few others. Since then they have
been bought by LeBaron Bonney, which makes the same stuff, but
for Fords. I know that almost immediately prices went up rather
steeply, and they were not cheap before. The kits used to be
made by Hampton Coach, which was located in Hampton, NH. Now
they are made by an outfit called Hampton Coach, located in
Amesbury, MA. That's where LeBaron Bonney always was, so I
expect that the kits are now made by the LeBaron Bonney staff,
under the name Hampton Coach, which, of course, they bought.
Just a couple of weeks ago I ordered a very small amount of
material from them. They said they could not understand from my
order exactly what I wanted, so they sent me some samples, none
of which match the original 32 Chevrolet material. I'm going to
Hershey later this week, and plan to visit their booth and see if
they still have Chevrolet material or if it's really all Ford.
Put this question out again this time next week and maybe I'll
have a better answer.

In article <jforbes.64...@primenet.com>,

Does anyone know how I could contact them. I have a 1931 Olds that
need a complete interior (headliner, door liners and carpets)

Please remove the nospam from my email address when replying.

Thanks
