If you currently have 235/75R15s on your wheels, then there should be
absolutely no problem putting 30x9.50x15s on the same wheels.
Reason: 235/75R15 are 28.9" in diameter (only 1.1" smaller) and
9.25" wide (only 0.25" narrower)
If you're hoping to gain lots of ground clearance by going to 30x9.50x15,
it ain't gonna happen. If you have enough fender clearance, you might
consider some 31" tires. Then at least you'd get a little over 1 inch
added ground clearance. (31 - 28.9 = 2.1, divided by 2 gives 1.05 inches)
