I have a 1995 Mitsubishi montero with the 3.5 DOHC V6 and took the
heads off for engine work and after putting them back on the manual I
have seems incorrect about the firing order or plug wire positions.
It says that the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6, then goes on to say that
the plugs are paired 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6. I don't see how this would
work (and when hooked up like this the plug wires are barely long
enough to reach).
Does anyone out there have a proper book that tells which wires are
for each pair of plugs?

When standing infront of a "V" type engine (hood open with fan at tummy)
there will always be one cylinder closest to you... be it on your
right-side of left.

That cylinder closet, normally is cylinder number ONE .

Given; a engine rotating at 600 RPM at idle.... with 60 seconds in a
minute... that equals 10 rotations per second... on a four-stoke
engine.... it's amazing what a car can do....
