Front end alignment-did I need it ?

I had an alignment done on my 89 Ford Country Squire wagon.
Looking at the print out of the before and after alignment, It looks to me
like the before alignment was ok.
The only thing they changed was the toe by 5/64"
Now my steering wheel is a little tilted to the left.
What gets me mad is they made a mess out of the adjuster sleeves with
channel lock pliers and then used an air gun to over tighten the hell out of
the clamps and they had the left tie rods twisted in a bind.

To top it off I had them rotate the tires and I told them don't over tighten
the lug nut with an air gun.
I just put new wheels and tires and 20 new lug nuts on it 2000 miles ago
needless to say the lug nuts are no longer like new.
Was it out of alignment to start with? It looks to me like they had the
steering wheel turned a little.
