Denon AVR-2800 headphone jack

Hi,

I've owned the denon for quite sometime now -- and for the very first time I
tried to plug in a headphones. Works fine, except the external speakers stay
on!

I have lost my owners manual. Is there anyone out there that can tell me how
to enable only the headphone jack (seems it is always enabled), but disable
the external speakers?

Wel1,

I finally figured it out -- for some reason, one cannot disable *both* A/B
(front/surround) speakers.

So here's the solution:
Set the output to Stereo (instead of 5 channel, which is what I had the unit
set to) -- then disable the A speakers. Plug the headphone base station into
the headphone jack (these are wireless headphones...), and voila. All is
well.

I still can't understand why one is unable to disable both set of speakers
at the same time.
