I'm interested in finding out good deals on audio tapes. I assume these
will be mail order places. I'm especially interested in Maxell XL-II 90
and TDK SA-90 tapes, and I'm looking for possible discounts on bulk
purchases (e.g., orders of 100 tapes).

Hi out there,
just so you can compare your U.S. prices to german ones:
In Stuttgart at "Lerche" the tapes cost:
Maxell XL II 90: DM 38,-- (10 tapes)
TDK SA 90: DM 15,50 (5 tapes)
TDK SA-X 90: DM 18,90 (5 tapes)
I think the dollar is at 1.60 DM per dollar or so...

Try J&R Music. They're usually extremely competitive on tape. Their ad
is usually in Stereo Review.
