The entire line of McIntosh is. Albeit they do not make tape decks. Inspite
of what has been going on with Clarion, nothing under the name of McIntosh
( some people I meet think I mean the computer!) will be made at a japanese
or other foreign plant. That is what I have been told by a top factory rep-
resentative. I ahve heard rumors that clarion may market McIntosh designs,
but made oversees. Thereby, making them more affordable, albeit not hand made.

Where is Carver stuff made? They DO make tape decks, although that
surprises an awful lot of folks (well, it surprised ME...). I have always
thought of Carver as one of the relatively few remaining American audio
companies (with the exception of speaker companies). Am I right? That is,
just how American is Carver?
