This is the most important question of your life.
The question is: Are you saved?
It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you
are a church member, but are you saved?
Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?
The reason some people don't know for sure if they are
going to Heaven when they die is because they just
don't know.
The good news is that you can know for sure that you
are going to Heaven.
The Holy Bible describes Heaven as a beautiful place
with no death, sorrow, sickness or pain.
God tells us in the Holy Bible how simple it is to be
saved so that we can live forever with Him in Heaven.
"For if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the
dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Over 2000 years ago God came from Heaven to earth in
the person of Jesus Christ to shed His blood and die
on a cross to pay our sin debt in full.
Jesus Christ was born in Israel supernaturally to a
virgin Jewish woman named Mary and lived a sinless
life for thirty-three years.
At the age of thirty-three Jesus was scourged and
had a crown of thorns pressed onto His head then
Jesus was crucified.
Three days after Jesus died on a cross and was placed
in a grave He rose from the dead as He said would
happen before He died.
If someone tells you that they are going to die
and then three days later come back to life and it
actually happens then this person must be the real deal.
Jesus Christ is the only person that ever lived a
perfect sinless life.
This is why Jesus is able to cover our sins(misdeeds)
with His own blood because Jesus is sinless.
The Holy Bible says, "In Him(Jesus) we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins..."
(Ephesians 1:7)
If you would like God to forgive you of your past,
present and future sins just ask Jesus Christ to be
your Lord and Saviour.
It doesn't matter how old you are or how many bad
things that you have done in your life including
lying and stealing all the way up to murder.
Just pray the prayer below with your mouth and mean it
from your heart and God will hear you and save you.
Dear Jesus Christ, I want to be saved so that I can
have a home in Heaven with You when I die. I agree
with You that I am a sinner. I believe that You love
me and want to save me. I believe that You bled and
died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins and
that You rose from the dead. Please forgive my sins
and come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour.
Thanks Lord Jesus Christ for forgiving me and saving
me through Your merciful grace. Amen.
Welcome to the family of God if you just allowed God
to save you.
Now you are a real Christian and you can know for sure
that you will live in Heaven forever when this life
comes to an end.
As a child of God we are to avoid sin(wrongdoing), but
if you do sin the Holy Bible says, "My dear children,
I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if
anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father
in our defense Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."
Those of you that have not yet decided to place your
trust in the Lord Jesus Christ may never get another
chance to do so because you do not know when you will die.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one
can come to the Father(God)(in Heaven), but by me."
(John 14:6)
This means that if you die without trusting in Jesus Christ
as your Lord and Saviour you will die in your sins and be
forever separated from the love of God in a place called Hell.
The Holy Bible descibes Hell as a place of eternal
torment, suffering, pain and agony for all those who
have rejected Jesus Christ.
The good news is that you can avoid Hell by allowing
Jesus Christ to save you today. Only then will you
have true peace in your life knowing that no matter
what happens you are on your way to Heaven.
Praise the Lord!
Servant of the Lord Jesus Christ

I back up my work routinely. Thanks for asking, though. It's an
important reminder.

Peddle your wares somewhere else, god botherer.
My ISP uses a spam trap on all this shit, so all I ever see are these
follow-ups. If people didn't post them, I wouldn't see the spam at
all. Bear in mind that the OP isn't interested in replies, and will
probably never read them (when did you ever meet a Christian whose
mind was open to another point of view?). Don't waste effort.

Those with a slightly larger reading radius will notice that this account

surprised if he read the replies, especially the ones which state that he
will have his account shut down for failing to follow the TOS associated
with his yahoo account.

Yup - that's what I mean.
When am I going to get laid next?
> The question is: Are you saved?
Oh. Well, yes as a matter of fact -- I always save my work every few
minutes and before leaving the workstation for any length of time. Never
know when Windows is gonna crash or the power will go out, after all...
> Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?
Nope. I don't see any means of empirically answering that question at
all, as a matter of fact, which makes it moot as far as I am concerned.
> The good news is that you can know for sure that you

Only be deluding yourself.
> The Holy Bible... [rest snipped]
is a book written by human beings. Maybe they were divinely inspired;
maybe not. There's no way to answer that question with certainty. But
the book is full of contradictions and dubious morals (such as various
situations where one should be stoned to death, put to the sword, burned
at the stake, or otherwise not suffered to live) and outright factual
errors (the age of the earth is gotten wrong by about six orders of
magnitude), so it seems unlikely. Logically, it seems to be a
compilation containing creation myths (more than one culture's, at
that), other myths, parables, codifications of a culture's laws and
taboos, and other stuff. Basically, it looks like a Neolithic attempt at
writing an encyclopedia, with an Iron Age philosophical appendix tacked
on a couple thousand years ago. Most of those claims it makes that
aren't unfalsifiable are simply false. What's left is some eyewitness
descriptions of historical events, such as the climate and ecological
disruption following the eruption of Thera around 1500 BCE (around 3500
years ago). As a description of what some ancient societies believed and
observed, and how they conducted their affairs, thousands of years ago,
it should be of some interest to anthropologists and possibly to
geologists. As a prescription of how to live in the electronics age,
though, let alone a guide to how to get into some afterlife that may or
may not exist, it's highly unlikely to prove to be correct.

Certainly? Says you.
Others might feel such proselytizing is arrogant, whether it's via spam

Oh, really? Posting off-topic? More-or-less spamming (the message seems
noncommercial, but still...)? And even ignoring those things, pushing
one's religion at other people uninvited is intrusive and rude,
generally speaking.
That's arguable.

It deserves nothing but mockery.

Noble?
There's nothing noble about spamming random newsgroups with religious
bullshit.

And I though he was going to ask if we were going to select
a single ended triode amp or a push pull ultralinear one.
That would be an important question. ;-)

And what about glasses breaking suddenly into small pieces without any
reason, birds flying into room throught closed window and disappearing,
out of body experiences, bad photographies with strange figures, sudden
wind blows...

Most of these things are either impossible, or have a trivial explanation.
Glasses -- shouldn't happen. But weird temperature/pressure change might
do something. Birds -- not possible. Anyone who claims to have seen such
a thing is mistaken -- probably about the window being closed. Out of
body experiences are dreams and/or hallucinations, and the same
explanation can cover the first two as well. Bad photographs with
strange figures were probably multiply-exposed (possibly by accident).
Photographs are not somehow infallible -- all kinds of things can go
wrong to produce an illusionary photograph. Photographs on Web sites may
have been digitally altered. These days even a printed photograph may
have been digitally altered. Sudden winds are a normal weather
phenomenon. If there is a cumulus cloud nearby, it's probably a
downdraft or microburst. If there are hills or structures nearby, it's
probably an eddy of some sort. If there's an actual storm in progress,
it's probably the storm.
