Wanted: amp designs

I suggest you subscribe to Sound Practices and Glass Audio to get an idea
of what hobbyists are building for themselves. For classic texts check
out _Mullard Tube Circuits for Audio Amps_ which is being reprinted.
The best book I have seen on contemporary tube amp building is _Valve
Amplifiers_ by Morgan Jones. Both these books are printed in the UK, I
believe. If you can't find a local source try Old Colony Sound Lab in
the US 603.924.6371.

After years of using making and buying top-end transistor amps(linn/naim
etc) I want to have a go at building a good valve(tube, yes I'm from the
UK) amp. Where/who can give or sell me some good creditable designs please.
I'm a qualified Electrical Engineer and OK in the metal bashing department,
so I'm game for just about anything. Any help appreciated
