FS: Original stereo LP Casino Royale COSO-5005. This has the stunning
version of Dusty Springfield singing "The Look of Love." The album is in
excellent condition. It still has the original shrink wrap on it (opened of
course).

Best offer over $125.00 plus shipping from 47424.

jeez, even in a heated eBay auction (assuming there would even be such a
thing for this item) I might shell out 30 bucks...

long live Shirley Bassie! GoldFINGER!

Make that three of us! I think the bottom dropped out on this when it was
re-issued a few years ago by Classic Records (or somebody like that). And yes,
I was suckered into buying an original too.

The reissue I heard was nowhere as good as the original, unfortunately. It
may be that the reissue may not have been mastered using tubes (obligatory
tube reference for net police). A good CR fetches between $50 and $100 at
Princeton Record Exchange....

Well boys and girls, if my price is too high and no one wants to buy my
copy, so be it. My feelings won't be hurt if this excellent lp stays in my
collection.

Before the advent of the internet and ebay, it was very hard to find a clean
copy of this album. It was very rare to see one in any condition for that
matter. As for reissues, they are never sound the same and usually never
hold the value of the original over time. If you can buy an original stereo
copy as nice as mine for $30.00 on ebay that's awesome.
