Receiver and Speaker Replacement Advice

I'm considering replacing my Sansui 7900Z receiver that I bought in
1980.

I've tried to check on the web, but can't seem to get any useful
information on current Sansui products.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a comparable replacement, either
from Sansui or other manufacturers?

Similarly, I have a pair of ESS PS8A speakers which have seen better
days (and two countries and three states). Assuming that I can't get
them [economically] refurbished, what would be suitable replacements?

I live in the middle of nowhere in NW Ohio, where Walmart is
considered the "audio store" of choice. People go to Best Buy in
Toledo for "high end" equipment. I'll be moving back to the Cleveland
area soon where there are a few decent audio outlets. Does anyone
have any suggestions on reputable mailorder dealers?
