|Bought an old Sansui (R-606) receiver at a garage sale.

|When I got it home, I found it doesn't have any Aux inputs.

|It is possible to connect a CD player to Tape inputs?
|
|Also, there are two 1/8" mini jacks on the back marked Phono and Tape
1, under

Yes, it is. The only difference between the two is the label. Also, in
case you did not know, do not hook anything up to the Phono plugs. This
will sound really bad and mess things up.

Hmm, probably to synchronize recording between the two. So both start
and stop at the same time. Don't worry about them.

Hello George,
Input sensitivity of Tape Inputs is usually the same as CD inputs: Should
be OK for you.
1/8" mini jack for Phono is unusual to me, but for Tape 1 you can probably
use it for directly connecting a portable Walkman or Discman to your
Sansui. Please note that the Phono Input sensitivity and frequency
characteristics are quite different (and incompatible) to Tape, CD or
Video inputs.

On the rear of my amp is has A rectangular black connector (5 pins) And is
labled "Remote control" I found that one of the 5 wires is ground and the
other 4 are the control lines for the Phono,Tape,TunerAnd Cd inputs..I used
4 pushbottons and made a simple wired remote control,I also added a volume
control to it via the Tape 2 Outputs.. Just in case..
Sorry for my ranting..
