Is Bruce Fairbairn (sp?) really dead? I was just rummaging around the internet
and saw where someone mentioned he died? Is this true? How did he die? When?
Thanks,
JJ

I thought he was great. He was into the feel of the record. He didn't use
click, left the right mistakes, everything you'd want.

Bruce died in February 1999 of a sudden heart attack. The story which I heard
was basically that he was making breakfast or having breakfast one morning with
his son, and had a fatal heart attack. He was only 49 and will be sorely
missed, to say the least :-(

Bruce Fairbairn died sometime in the morning of May 17, 1999 from an
aneurysm. He was alone in the house and was found dead by his studio
manager Sheryl Preston & Ian Anderson of Yes after Fairbairn failed to
show up at the studio.

Can't believe EQ Magazine can't even get there facts straight.

So Ian Anderson is in Yes now?

Does this mean Jon Anderson is now in Jethro Tull?

Either way, I know on a personal level I wish they'd both shut the fuck
up. Most recently, I think Bruce sings better [at least with more
emotion] than either of them.

Yes, he learned how to play the flute and joined Jethro Bodine. Oh wait, that
doesn't sound right. ;-)

It doesn't sound right because it is a well known internet hoax.

Actually, Jon Anderson climbed up into a tree, cut the soles out of his
shoes and then learned to play the flute.
