They started out using Jordan amplifiers, but for most of the years they were
together, they used the Acoustic Control 261 guitar amps for guitar and
keyboards, and Ray later added the Acoustic 361 bass cabinets for his Rhodes
keyboard bass. As I recall, Ray used a Vox (Continental?) as his main keyboard
for quite a while.

I'd be careful dealing with that Berkowitz guy. His brother David wasn't
too tightly wrapped...<vbg>
Sorry to read your tale, thanks for the warning.

Before you buy.
To be pedantic, wasn't it the Fender keyboard bass?
On the VH-1 show it looked like he was using a Vox Jaguar (single
keyboard, reversed colored keys, sounds very like a Continental).
I thought that he used a Farfisa for most of the 60s but I could easily
be persuaded that he used a Continental.

Well, strictly speaking, it was a "Fender Rhodes" keyboard bass. Harold worked
for Fender and Fender manufactured/distributed the bass and the keyboard as a
Fender Rhodes product.

I "think" it was a single keyboard with reverse colors, but that's why I put the
"?" after the word "Continental" - I play guitar, not keyboards, so I'm not up
on keyboard model names. The Fender Rhodes is the exception, since I worked
with Harold Rhodes on the design of the Rhodes keyboards at Fender (I was
Harold's only employee). But since I played guitar, lunches were always spent
with Freddy T., talking about guitar and pickup designs.

You may be right about the Farfisa - I didn't pay much attention to it at the
time. I'll hafta drag out my old pictures and get out my magnifying glass.
