extracting unfinalized audio from cdr

Hi,

I have mixed an audio track onto a CDR-recorder. I want to extract this
audio to my PC WITHOUT finalising the disc.
I am sure this must be possible. Is there any software that will do this?
I want to get this mix onto PC so that I can convert it to MP3 for web
distribution.

Any help would be gratefully received.

FYI I recorded using a Philips CDR onto Philips brand 'consumer' media.
Only EZCD seems to see the tracks, but it won't let me do anything.
If I close the session, will I be able to record further with the Philips
machine?

Feurio *might* do this though you would likely have to use your burner
as the 'source' drive since only burners will read 'open' audio discs
AFAIK...

Select your burner as source in the window and insert the disc, if it
will read drag the track(s) into a new compilation, then use the
'projects' option of 'copy track(s), select 'copy the physical wav file'
to where you wish on your HDD.

Sorry, but I don't currently have a TAO recorded "open" audio disc to
test with though...

I agree with Tim, you will probably have to use your recorder as a
reader for the disc. I'm not sure which software will do it, but I
have a feeling that VOB's InstantCD Wizard will, as it sees discs with
wierd layouts much better than any other software I've tried.

Could always try with the newest demo versions of Nero and CDRWin as
well.
