I recently helped a friend buy M1's; they are excellent for the money.
For that matter so are the B&W's.... I think you need to go listen. I
don't see any obvious way to go wrong with your above choices.

I agree with Marlons comments.i went through the same dilema when getting my
speakers. I wound up getting the Tannoy M2's new in box from the local dealer
for $315 USD. I love 'em.
I own a pair of the 601's. I auditioned the 302's but have never
auditioned the Tannoy's. Personally I thought that the 601's were worth
the extra money. I like the Kevlar driver of the 601's over the 302's
doped paper cone, and like the aluminum tweeter of the 601's over the
soft dome of the 302's. I liked that the 601's are biwireable as well. I
don't think the 302's are biwireable, could be wrong. The 601's to me
sounded much more alive, better dynamics (handles loud transients well),
smoother response, and crisp clear highs. I can turn the volume up
_very_ loud and there is no sign of strain and I get no fatigue in the
treble. The 302's strain a bit at high volumes. The design, especially
with the grill off, of the 601's won me over as well. You can't go wrong
either way, the 302's are excellent in their price range.
